Introducing the Dust Academy

At Dust, we've spent years obsessing over how AI can transform team productivity. We've built connections, agents, and workflows that let organizations leverage AI at scale. But there's been a persistent gap in this equation: getting users from zero to productive with Dust.
The problem we're solving
For enterprise customers, we allocate onboarding resources to train users. The number of hours depends on the customer segment. This works, but it doesn't scale. When deploying to 1000+ users at once, it's impossible to have face time with every single user. And with the rising number of customers we're signing, our current process couldn't keep up.
For self-service customers, the situation was worse. Beyond technical documentation, there were few onboarding resources available. A significant portion of these users were not correctly onboarded, holding misconceptions about what Dust can bring them, unsure of how to get there.
Both problems share a root cause: the knowledge needed to get productive with Dust was locked in our heads and scattered across docs that were not the easiest to digest.
Enter the Dust Academy
Today we're launching the Dust Academy at dust.tt/academy.
It's a self-service learning platform designed to help users level up their Dust expertise at their own pace. No scheduling calls, no waiting for availability. Just structured learning paths that take you from first login to building sophisticated agents.
We're launching with four courses:
- AI Agents: The beginner's guide - New to generative AI? This course is best way to understand what this new way to work is all about.
- First steps on Dust - Navigate the platform, understand global agents like @dust and @help, chain agent calls, and use agents everywhere you work.
- Build your own agents - Create your own AI agents, connected to your company data. Push beyond conversations by giving your agents the ability to take actions and integrate with your infrastructure.
- Automate your agents - Schedule your agents to run automatically, without any manual intervention.
Why this matters
The world of AI moves fast. New models emerge, new capabilities unlock, and Dust evolves with them. The Academy isn't a static resource. It will be updated as we ship new features, ensuring users always have a path to leverage the latest capabilities.
For enterprise customers, this means implementation teams can focus on high-value, customer-specific use cases rather than repeating basic training. The Academy handles the fundamentals; humans focus on the strategic work.
For self-service users, this removes one of the biggest barriers to getting value from Dust. The white-page syndrome that kills activation for horizontal products? Structured learning paths address it directly.

This is v1. We're already working on quizzes to test knowledge, progress tracking so you can pick up where you left off, and expanded content as we ship new capabilities.
