Your browser has a point of view

chrome extension
When we shipped the Chrome extension last year, it solved a real problem: getting Dust agents into the browser where most work actually happens. Select text, share a page, start a conversation, all without leaving your tab.
It was a start. But the extension and the web app still felt like two different products. If you tried both, you noticed. The extension was faster to reach but limited in what it could do once you got there.
We rebuilt it from scratch.

Full parity with the web app

The extension now does everything the web app does.
The input bar supports voice input, human mentions, and rich text formatting: bold, italic, lists, emoji. Your draft auto-saves when you close the sidebar. Conversations display Frames, reactions, and attached or generated files. You can attach agents, tools, skills, or knowledge sources to any conversation, directly from the sidebar.
Your conversation list and inbox are there too, with unread indicators.

Agents that read your browser

The extension always had access to your current page. What's changed is how agents use that access.
When an agent needs the content of the page you're on, it detects what's there and asks for permission. No manual copy-paste, no "attach page" button. It works across multiple open tabs at once. And it goes beyond reading: agents can now interact with the page itself, filling forms, clicking buttons, navigating.
The extension also suggests actions based on what it sees. A form on the page? It offers to fill it. Several tabs open? It offers to work across them. You don't need to initiate these workflows; the agent does.

Your tools come with you

Since the rebuild runs on the same architecture as the web app, every MCP tool you've connected works here too. Gmail, Notion, your CRM, everything, accessible from the extension without switching tabs.
This is the part the web app can't replicate. An agent that reads your browser context, acts on the page, and calls your connected tools, all from a sidebar that's one keyboard shortcut away.

Now on Arc and Edge

The extension works on Arc and Microsoft Edge, in addition to Chrome. Same Chrome Web Store install.
